Amo dritto, bronzato, curvatura stretta e gambo lungo. Punta affilata chimicamente con micro-ardiglione. Acuminatissimo. A filo fine per esche delicate. È molto indicato per la roubasienne e quindi per una pesca di precisione su pesci molto difficili. Ideale per la pesca a triotti, gardons e piccole bremes, ma soprattutto è impiegato nelle competizioni per la pesca alle alborelle sopportando un elevatissimo numero di catture mantenendosi in ottimo stato.
